Tennis

Tennis is a stimulating sport that strengthens the body and challenges the mind. During the CCA, students will learn the fundamentals of tennis, which include techniques practice, e.g. forehand/ backhand, coordination drills, mini games and serving. Over the 3 years, students in the CCA will go through a progression to better their strokes and game play.  To value-add students’ experience, in 2016, selected students were invited to watch the BNP Paribas WTA Finals held in Singapore. Students witnessed top players in action, learnt new techniques and were greatly inspired by the players. Tennis rackets and balls will be provided for students during training. Students from the CCA team will be invited to join the training squad or school team should they display exceptional skills, as well as attitude.

Highlights

Selected students will have the opportunity to participate in the National Inter-school Tennis Championships, as well as friendly matches organised with other schools.
