Programmes


In line with the school’s vision of a learning community where every child will develop her unique giftedness to LEAD and MAKE A DIFFERENCE, the English Language (EL) Department uses the K* Teaching and Learning Framework (K* T&L F/W) to guide the design and facilitation of the department’s programmes for every Kellock girl. 

The school-based EL curriculum is deployed through the 3S approach – SUPPORT for the at-risk, STRENGTHEN for the masses and STRETCH for the achievers. 

The Support and Stretch programmes in school are differentiated to cater to the different learning abilities of the students. Support programmes target the at-risk students identified by teachers through observations and assessments. These programmes support the students’ mastery of specific skills and fundamental knowledge. Stretch programmes target the high progress learners and provide opportunities and exposure to stretch every child to find her strength and talent. Taking into account the profiles of students and interests of the students, programmes in the EL department are also specially customised so as to strengthen and enhance the teaching and learning of EL for the masses.

  • P3 School-based Dyslexia Programme (SDR) 
  • P3 Reading Remediation Programme (RRP)
