Holistic Health Education

Our Mission

The Holistic Health Education Department seeks to nurture passionate learners who take PRIDE their holistic development. Believing in making learning fun, relevant and engaging for the pupils, the Physical and Health Education (PHE) lessons have been structured to provide pupils with opportunities to learn on the move.

Tutti-Frutti Tuesday

Tutti-Frutti Tuesday is a new initiative by the school, with the help of the Parent Support Group (PSG), to cultivate in our students the habit of eating fruits daily. Students will be able to collect a stamp on their Start Healthy Eating (SHE) card when they bring their own fruits or purchase fruits from the fruit stall every Tuesday.

Highlights

Parents can help:
  • Encourage participation in physical activities
  • Include physical activities as part of the activities your child will participate in beyond the school as a family to help her develop her psychomotor, cognitive and affective domains and strengthen the family bond.
  • Encourage healthy eating
  • Provide your child with a balance diet and encourage her to eat a variety of food from different food groups using the healthy food pyramid as a guide. Include whole grains, fruits, vegetables and calcium rich food to help your child acquire the necessary nutrients needed for growth.
